Where’s Walrus?

This wordless picture book is tons of fun for kids and adults alike!

When a mischievous walrus escapes from the zoo, he goes on all kinds of adventures while trying to blend in and hide from the zookeeper.

He hides in the park….

…the stage

…and even a construction site!

Wherever he goes, children will have a great time telling his story along the way.  This is a perfect example of when a wordless picture book works.  The color-block illustrations and silly antics make for a great read.

  1. This is a really interesting post because I have actually never seen a wordless picture book that looks so bold and exciting for young children- I like the idea that children are given a general direction of where the story is going, but can add their own flavor and do a lot of imagining themselves. It seems like it would definitely boost their imagination and creativity!
